- Bronze artist Devin Field believes that sculpture should be beautiful from every angle. The son of a zoologist, Devin worked with endangered species while in college. His love of nature is integral to his art. Devin's work has hints of ancient cultures with their refined, stylized form. Devin once specialized in small bronze statues. Now he's working exclusively on large installations, some 25 feet tall.

- Bill Keale was born on Oahu and comes from a family of musicians. Bill talks about watching his mother sing and play the ukelele with emotion and feeling; his Uncle Moe Keale and cousin Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole also had their impact on him. In the '90's Bill moved to Bend where he was voted most popular singer three years running. Listen to his gentle, passionate voice and guitar and hear his story of making a place in music.

- The owners of Portland's Elements Glass foundry and gallery were boyhood buddies in St. Louis. They all ended up in Portland where they demonstrate their primitive method for making glass art. Sculptor Mike Leckie also pays a visit to their foundry and has them pour some striking glass faces.
