Wolverine
The last documented wolverine sighting in Oregon was over 14 years ago, and people are hard at work to see if this reclusive animal still inhabits the state. Southern Cascade Wolverine Survey biologists visit avalanche-prone areas around Crater Lake in search of wolverine. And the Forest Service works with the volunteer group Cascadia Wild to track the animal in the Mt. Hood National Forest.
