Osprey

The osprey, a kind of hawk, dives right into the water to catch fish. These large birds were in serious trouble in the 1960s, but now their numbers are increasing steadily. A researcher says two main factors in their recovery are the banning of the pesticide DDT and osprey's ability to adapt to a more urban environment.
