This morning we went back to high school — Grant High School in NE Portland to be precise. We were there to chat with some teenagers about texting. How do they use it? When? And why? We got there just as the sun was rising:
Even though it was early, there were already students wandering the halls. Our broadcast was scheduled to start (as usual) at 9:06 am but our keen participants showed up at the time they had been told — 8 am. They sat with us — with cellphones turned off! — for an hour. It was a great time to get to know them, and for them to get to know us.
Once the show got started the conversation took off!
