Pictures from Dignity Village
Here are a few pictures from the show we taped at Dignity Village. We were welcomed warmly by everyone we met, and we set up our microphones and equipment in what's known as the common room, sometimes called the living room. Here's Dave and Emily giving some introductory remarks before the show:
After the show got going we were able to talk with some residents, of course, but we had a chance for even longer conversations with people before the show. Here's Emily talking to John Clark, who just moved to the Village a few months ago.
Here's No Place to Call Home series producer Julie Sabatier in a converation with Cindy Davis, a resident, and former resident Tim McCarthy. McCarthy now owns his own home in Newberg.
And one last shot, from when the show was about to start taping. On the couch across from Emily and David are Sally Erickson from the City of Portland and Randy Curl, Village resident and council chairman.
