Have you read the Multnomah County Library's 2012 "Everybody Reads" book The Girl Who Fell from the Sky? If so, you won't want to miss this conversation with the author, Heidi W. Durrow, about living in a mixed race family.

This show will be live from Literary Arts in dowtown Portland. We'll turn to the audience and callers, as always, to share their experience and to ask questions of Durrow.

A couple of days before the show Ifanyi Bell from OPB's Arts and Life went for a walk with Heidi Durrow. They toured the neighborhoods where she grew up and where parts of her debut novel is set. They discussed the experience of multicultural life, the genesis of Durrow's book and growing up in a Portland different from the one we see today.

What questions do you have for Heidi Durrow? Are you biracial? Did you grow up in a mixed-race family? What experience can you add to this conversation?
