Hanford workers monitor nuclear waste tanks

For the first time, a leak appears to have been detected at Washington's Hanford Nuclear Reservation in one of the double-shell tanks. These tanks are supposed to be an improvement over the weaker, single-shell tanks that have been responsible for over one million gallons of leaked waste.

Hanford holds over 50 million gallons of radioactive nuclear waste — 60 percent of the total waste in the country.

We'll talk to OPB News reporter Anna King about the leak. What questions do you have about the leak and the nuclear cleanup at Hanford?
