American Idol is not the only musical talent show on television, nor was it among the first. But that won't stop thousands of performers from lining up at the Rose Garden July 2 to audition for their 15 minutes of fame.
We're sitting down with two local musicians, a singer-songrwriter and a hip-hop artist. We'll hear about their serendipitous meeting and their aspirations to go mainstream.
