Documentarian Ken Burns is known for his epic takes on the Civil War, baseball, national parks, World War II, and more. He's back now with a look at prohibition. His new three-part, six-hour film will air on OPB TV in early October. But he's coming to town now, so we'll grab some time with him to talk about his career and his new film. Here's a preview:

For Burns, the story of prohibition hinges on grand questions of personal freedom, rural vs. urban values, and who qualifies as "American."
