There are many ways to measure intelligence. The ubiquitous Intelligence Quotient (IQ) test is no longer the standard it once was. Recent developments in this century-old field try to account for cultural biases in the test. A team of researchers at the University of Oregon have been studying links between intelligence and memory. They found that basically, quantity counts more than quality when it comes to a correlation between memory and intelligence. In other words, a person's IQ is strongly linked to how many objects they can remember, regardless of how many details they can recall about those objects.
