The lottery for the 2012 NBA draft is May 30th. Depending on the results of a complex lottery process, the Portland Trail Blazers' prospects entering the next season could change dramatically. There's plenty of speculation about what the Blazers will opt for. A shooting guard? A point guard or a center? (Or maybe both?)

The Blazers' relatively good record means the team will have just a three percent chance at a top-three pick. Watchers expect the team to pick 11th.

Still, that puts them in their best position since 2007, when they infamously selected injury-plagued Greg Oden over Kevin Durant.
