Nike was widely criticized earlier this week for standing by Lance Armstrong, despite the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency releasing a mountain of evidence that the seven-time Tour de France winner engaged in doping. Now, the sportswear giant has terminated Armstrong's contract. The statement reads

Due to the seemingly insurmountable evidence that Lance Armstrong participated in doping and misled Nike for more than a decade, it is with great sadness that we have terminated our contract with him. Nike does not condone the use of illegal performance enhancing drugs in any manner. Nike plans to continue support of the Livestrong initiatives created to unite, inspire and empower people affected by cancer.

We'll talk with a former professional cyclist, Paul Willerton. He was part of our Lance Armstrong discussion on Monday and protested Nike's support of Armstrong.

What's your response to Nike's terminating Lance Armstrong's contract?
