If you're a registered voter in Oregon, you're probably used to the idea that your vote-by-mail ballot will arrive along with a fairly hefty voters guide detailing the local and statewide measures. This year will be no different. Several of the initiatives have been voted on before — like the ones for marijuana, a Portland area casino and gill net fishing.
Today's the deadline for initiative sponsors in Oregon to turn in their signatures to qualify for the November ballot. We'll talk with Oregonian political reporter Jeff Mapes, who's in Salem covering the story, about what looks likely to qualify.
