OPB TV is taking a look at some of the pioneers of the Oregon wine industry Tuesday night on Oregon Experience. The documentary profiles some of those families who put down literal roots in what is now Oregon wine country. Vintners planted varieties like Riesling and Chardonnay but focused largely on Pinot Noir — which Oregon is now widely known for. We'll check in on the state of the Oregon wine industry — which pumps nearly three billion dollars annually into the local economy.
