Rob Smith, Editor of the Portland Business Journal, joins us to discuss some of the week's top business stories. This week, the journal is following the impact of the acquisitions of regionally-based businesses McCormick & Schmick, as well as Rejuvenation. Smith says the latest plans for the renovation of Memorial Coliseum surprised him — given the long-standing goal of turning the Rose Quarter into a pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use district, as well as the extensive public input process into what should happen with the facility. And, with Chapman and Lownsdale squares in downtown Portland now cleared of Occupy Portland tents and protesters, how much will the cleanup cost? Finally, what does Warren Buffet's purchase of Intel stock bode?

What are your thoughts about regionally-based businesses moving out of the area, plans to renovate the Memorial Coliseum, and the financial fallout from the Occupy Portland protests?
