It's Halloween weekend. In addition to the classic pumpkin carvings or Sauvie Island corn maze, what do Oregon's arts, music, and theater institutions have to offer?
Blue Cranes are playing at the Woods on Friday, if you want to catch some exciting local jazz. On Saturday, it's time to break out your favorite big suit for the tribute to the Talking Heads at the Good Foot. And Vagabond Opera (who appear on OPB's Oregon Art Beat tonight) host their annual Transylvanian Voodoo Ball, if you need a Halloween fix.
We're also closing in on the last week of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. So after the release of Anonymous and our conversation with Linfield Shakespeare expert Daniel Pollack-Pelzner on Friday, you can go see the plays again and make up your own mind about who the real Shakespeare was.
What are your spooky plans for the weekend?
