Fall's officially here, but the weather still feels like summer. Are you going to spend the weekend indoors or outside? To help you decide, we've got the urban and outdoors experts to let you know what your best bets are.
James Franco and Gus Van Sant are in town to screen My Own Private River, a movie they made about River Phoenix and the Making of My Own Private Idaho. The Opera is hosting a street fair. And Kris Kristofferson and Merle Haggard are playing together at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts.
If you want to get out in the sun, it's a good weekend for biking. You could go on an overnight ride to Oxbow Park. Or head out to the Hood River Grand Fondo to bike with Tour de France winner Greg LeMond. If city biking is your thing, there's the Oregon Manifest bike-building competition in Portland.
How about you: What are you up to this weekend?
