Winter Drinks
When the weather gets cool, many people shelve their white wine and reach for red instead. But, really, that is rather basic. There are so many more wonderful ways to enjoy winter-in-your-glass. Some examples from our show earlier this season included porters and lagers that can serve as grown-up hot chocolates, as well as mixed drinks — including "Figgy Pudding" from Corvallis' Block 15 brewery and the cider-based "Cranky Lass" from Clyde Common in Portland.
Take a listen back to this show to hear some more favorites and while you're at it, let us know yours! What are your favorite winter beers, ciders, and wines? Which bars or breweries do you head for in the winter?
