How did you do? If you're like most people, you probably hadn't heard of the musicians, but the songs are so familiar you might even be able to hear them in your head. The musicians are members of The Wrecking Crew — a group of L.A. musicians who played on some of the biggest hits of the '60s and '70s.
Kent Hartman's book The Wrecking Crew documents the lives and careers of these hit-making musicians and goes behind the scenes at the studios they performed in.
If you'd like to hear some of the songs the Wrecking Crew played on, check out our Wrecking Crew Spotify playlist.
