I am ecstatic about the presidential result, and am very pleased by Obama's inclusiveness in his speech last night. However, my enthusiasm is tempered by the passing of both bands on gay marriage -- in Florida and (arghhh!) in California. While on the one hand our rhetoric is inclusiveness, we can on the other hand restrict rights of some of our citizens.
