I think the overall quality of news journalism has gone down the tubes....it's all fluff.  There is a lot of important stuff going on all over the world that affects America and goes unreported on. We hear the same stories over and over.  The really juicy inside stuff that decides foreign policy and NWO/Globalization information is not there. ....the public is kept in the dark by design,...by the corporatocracy in order to maintain control over political and economic events.  What is the Counsel on Foreign Affairs doing?What are the voting records of Congress?...publish them !! Report on the corporate sponsorship of members of Congress !! Why aren't people on Wall Street going to jail ?? What are missions of our military bases abroad ?? Mainstream electronic media is just white noise, and newsprint is police blotter stuff....the BBC is probably the best of the lot with any value. Independent web sources are the only place to get real news.

I WORKED AS A VOLUNTEER ON THE OREGON PARTNERSHIP HELP LINE FOR ABOUT 18 MONTHS...MOST OF MY SUICIDE CALLS CAME FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE DRUG INDUCED PSYCHOSIS, AND THOSE WHO ARE ALONE, DISABLED, VERY POOR, DIVORCED, AND/OR HAD A HISTORY OF MENTAL ILLNESS CAUSED BY DRUGS.....I FIND THAT "MOOD DISORDERS" AND "PSYCHIATRIC" ILLNESS" TO BE A GENERIC WAY OF DESCRIBING THE CAUSES OF SUICIDE....I ONLY REMEMBER ONE PERSON WHO WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A MENTAL ILLNESS THAT DIDN'T HAVE ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTING FACTORS.

I am not a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or any other thing of that sort.
I am a Human Being...and I vote. I think this 'party stuff' is unnecessary and promotes the childish antics of politics...although it might make a great ongoing 'movie', I am not in favor of 'Parties'. I think candidates should run on the positions they personally take and they can have a 'Party' if they win. I also believe the Electoral College is an antique that needs to be retired from service and it should be that the person who gets the most votes wins.
Period.

I agree...neither party does it for me...and none of the candidates do either.
I see business as usual on both sides of the aisle. I see Congress as one party AGAINST the welfare of the working folks of this country. I have written countless letters on various current issues to elected officials and I receive in return insulting, condescending form letters that say nothing about the issues I was trying to address. The TV ads are aimed at a 3rd grade mentality and say nothing of value.
