on Immigration Law
annykan you miss my point - Americans do benefit from illegal immigrants, even if we do not want to admit it. Someone needs to balance the costs of illegal immigrants with the cost savings from the cheaper produced goods that many Americans buy.

Yes you are probably right - but ask Americans if they still want the dollar menu at McDonalds..... It would not be there if it cost more to pick tomatoes.

It is true that illegal immigrants are willing to do work for cheaper pay than most Americans... But right now, on the show no one has talked about how the average American benefits from the cheap illegal immigrant labor producing cheap products. These products include cheaper hotel rooms and cheaper agricultural products. I grew up in the Napa Valley in California and if there was a serious crack down on illigal immigrant work in that valley the booming wine business that brings so much tourism and money would collapse. We all like to talk about how illigal immigrants are taking jobs and using services that they don't pay for, but I think that the benefits that we recieve from their cheap labor are more valuable.
