Traci from Oregon Trout mentioned Metro's involvement in environmental education and support for outdoor school. In addition to environmental education, Metro has launched an initiative to complete the Portland region's trails network, envisioned to eventually include 900 miles of trail extending throughout the urban area. For those of you familiar with the Eastbank Esplanade and Springwater trails, imagine a network of trails like these extending from Gresham to Forest Grove and from Oregon City to Vancouver Washington.
