on Metro Prez Heads to NYC

Lame show today, Emily. This guy has gone a long, long way on very little. Amazing that on the day he's leaving TriMet is increasing fares and decreasing service. I look forward to hearing how his nonstop talking and talking and talking without saying anything plays in New York. I support the mission and concept of Metro, by the way, but hopefully someone qualified will step in and prioritize something other than his conference schedule.

on Oregon on Screen

What a disturbing show. Your very smug guest from Leverage (earlier in the hour) is clearly here to exploit as much as she can. She'd be on another talk show in another state in a heart beat if she could get her job done more cheaply. Are we really that starved for attention here? Sad.

on New Police Chief

Firing someone right before she retires seems like revenge theatrics.

on End of the Special Session

Could someone on your program please address why the legislature spent time dealing with the issues of gun permits for felons? I'd like to know. Thank you.

on Measure 67

I am undecided on both measures. I do have a question about a commercial I've seen that references Wall Street bailouts, executive bonuses and credit card fees. If the intention of the producers/sponsors of this commercial is to suggest that our taxes in Oregon somehow will address the madness in the nation's financial industry, I think that's misleading.

on Good News, Bad News

We're living in tough, challenging times. Therefore - and for this I am thankful - there is a lot of what could be called negative news. If people want to feel good and know what they can "do" either open your front door and look around or tune into Oprah, who will put a warm and fuzzy coating on everything so we can all feel better.
