I think its sad the way everyone has jumped ship on President Obama. Does nobody else remember that Obama was elected to be a uniter, someone who promised to do things coherently than Bush and listen to the American people? Congress abandoned him on health care and didn't have the courage to pass tax cuts with their own reelections on the line, and now its all Obama's fault? I'm terribly disappointed in congress, dems and republicans alike, and am still proud to have a president I find to be thoughtful, intelligent and pragmatic. How naive are we here? He is one man with a mean feat at hand and getting hit from all sides. As a person who has been unemployed for two years I am grateful he did what was necessary to protect unemployment benefits so that myself and so many others like me can make ends meet.
