I remember getting on an elevator @ OHSU  in the 60's and hearing a rather loud repetitive noise coming from the rear of the elevator.  The sound was coming from a gentleman in the rear of the elevator and was coming from a S/E early valve.  It was quite striking! What changes did you make that reduced the sound?

Can any of the search and rescue people there look you in the eye and say that when they get a call to go to a rescue that the would think:" I hope the person in trouble DOESN'T  have a MLU"

Columbia Gorge Commmunity College in The Dalles, OR has a program to train maintenance techs for servicing the wind turbines. Dr. Susan Wolf the Chief Academic Officer there would have a great interview to discuss new jobs being generated by the industry. I believe there was a spot on it on Oregon Field Guide several weeks ago
