I am nearby in Oregon (Mt. Hood Community College), and I have a good deal of experience in this area--as the resident free speech guy. I was charged with insubordination and harassment for violating an unconstitutional email policy (I won), and I have challenged faculty at Mt. Hood Community College to do more than provide lip service for the "marketplace of ideas."
