Obama was naive when he was elected.  His biggest shortcoming has been a failure to realize that politics is a bloodsport for the core Republican party - you win or you loose, you are with us or against us. Republicans recognize no center.  

I am disappointed in President Obama's ability to advance his agenda but I would still vote for him over any Republican I can think of.

I noticed yesterday that Beaverton Police carry a Tasar device as standard personel equipment.  Was a Tasar an option in this case?
