Affirmative action is racist by definition.  And with the browning of America will shortly be a moot point.

on Tuition Equity?

We are not punishing the children for the actions of their parents.  If the children are undocumented, they are illegal.  Get your citizenship and the problem goes away.  There is no need for any new laws.

on Chronic Pain Relief

i don't get the use of marijuana as true medical drug. certainly if i need codeine, i don't have plant poppies in the back yard to get it. so if marijuana has a valid medical use why isn't some drug company commercializing it by turning it in to a pill or an inhalant?

on Mind Your Manners

Once when my daughter was two, I was entertaining her while we were grocery shopping. She was giggling and playing, then let out a single scream of joy. Someone close by rudely told me to keep my kid under control. I approached him and explained to him that his comment was rude and I thought it was inappropriate. I explained to the gentleman, my daughter wasn't throwing a fit or running around wild. He came back with the same bad attitude and I told him to @#%$ off and walked away. Perhaps a bad response on my part, but i didn't punch him like I wanted to do.

on Summer Struggles

I think it?s a great program. As a society we really must care for the young. I?m not in a low income bracket; however as a single working parent of two young girls, I find it very challenging to find activities for the kids.

Also I?d like to hear what your panel has to say about the idea of getting rid of the long summer break for the kids. When we were an agricultural society it was needed. It?s an idea that?s had it?s time and in my opinion, isn?t needed anymore.

on Snitching on Dad

Taking the driving test isn?t irrelevant! It?s a hassle! And further more it?s prosecution with any proof of guilt. If somebody turns you in anonymously, without proof, for having illegal drugs hidden in the walls of your house, do you think cops should be allowed to come in and tear up your home? Whatever happened to the concept of innocent until proven guilty?

on Is Changing Climate Changing You?

I'm disinterested, because I feel the real problem is over population. And this never gets addressed. Global warming is a side affect. That being said, I really want to put solar panels on my house. I also want to reduce my household over all consumption of energy and consumer products. The government wants to fuel the economy but ignores pollution that causes.
