on Reforming the Initiative Process
I have an idea: don't allow paid signature collectors. Only volunteers would be able to gather signatures. This would mean that people with money can't hire other people to do the work. My friend and I were outside the Downtown library. There was a guy with a big wad of cash he was giving out to people who were angry with him for not paying more for their signature work. It was strange. He kept telling them they were independent contractors. I wish I had cleaned off my cell phone so I could have taken video.

on The Morning After
I just heard the radio host say that there was "no dismay" from people on the web. Please wake up in the studio. I had made this comment 15 minutes before your whitewash of the issues. Let's focus on the real problems. And one I forgot to mention is the media who exclude 3rd party candidates from the debates. This prevents them from getting any numbers in the polls.

Barak is inspiring and will protect the Supreme Court. The real problems in Oregon are bigger than Barak. Anyone with cash can get something on the ballot. Schools are underfunded, and many businesses pay only $10 in Oregon taxes. We pay more for heathcare and get less healthcare. Bottom line is that people have to do what Barak said and turn off the TV and get involved.

on An Internet Speed Limit?
There are no checks and balances for the monoplies like comcast that manipulate our government, networks and the fear messages in media. They sky is not falling on public networks or public power. Comcast said today public networks are a "complete mess". The net companies have got caught limiting all customers then lied, now we should trust them on the air today and with our information tomorow? We are a country living in fear thanks to Regan's "Government isn't the solution, it's the problem" We should be living the model of Jimmy Stewart's ( George Bailey's ) cooperative banking in "It's a wonderful life"
